Let an AI assistant help run your shop
Sellrika has an MCP server. Connect an AI assistant like Claude, and ask it about sales, stock and orders in plain words. Here is how to start, and how to stay safe.

Running a small shop means a lot of small jobs. Check the sales. Find what is running low. Add new products. Write a post for the blog. An AI assistant can do many of these jobs for you, if it can reach your shop.
Sellrika has an MCP server for this. MCP is an open standard that lets AI assistants, like Claude, use the tools of an app. Once it is connected, you can ask in plain words.
What you can ask
- "How much did we sell last week? What was the best product?"
- "Which products are low on stock?"
- "Add 20 to the stock of the blue mug. A delivery came in."
- "Make a coupon for 10% off, valid this weekend only."
- "Show me the unpaid orders."
- "Write a draft email campaign about our new autumn candles."
The assistant can also read the Sellrika user guide. So you can ask "How do I set up tax?" and get the steps for your app.
In fact, this post was written by an AI assistant through these same tools.
How to connect
- Open Settings › MCP & API keys.
- In the MCP server box, copy the server address.
- Add this address to your AI assistant.
- The assistant opens a Sellrika page. Sign in, check the name and the shop, pick a Role, and press Allow.
Press How to connect on the same page for examples. If your assistant can not sign in by itself, you can make a key instead and give it to the assistant.
Stay in control
You decide what the assistant may do. Pick the role with care:
- Cashier: create and read orders.
- Manager: also products, stock, reports and marketing.
- Admin: everything, with refunds and coupons.
Start with the smallest role that does the job. If you need more later, connect again with a bigger role.
- A key works in one shop only.
- A key can never do more than the person who made it.
- A key is shown only once. Only a safe fingerprint of it is stored.
- To stop an assistant, delete its key. It stops working at once.
For developers: the REST API
The same tools are also a REST API at /api/v1, with an OpenAPI file. Use it to connect your own programs, like an accounting tool or a stock sheet.
Tips for good results
- Be clear. "Sales from 1 to 7 November" is better than "recent sales".
- Ask the assistant to make blog posts and campaigns as a draft first. Then read them before they go live.
- Check big changes, like refunds, before you say yes.
