Hello from Sellrika: one app for your POS and your online store

Welcome to the Sellrika blog! Here we tell you what Sellrika is, who it is for, and why we built it.

What is Sellrika?

Sellrika is a point of sale (POS) and an online store in one app. It is made for small shops.

You sell at the counter on the Sell screen. Your buyers order from your online store. Both use the same products, the same stock and the same orders. So you never type a product twice, and your stock is always right.

Why we built it

Many small shops use one tool for the POS and another for the website. Then the stock in the two tools does not match. A product sells out in the shop but still shows as "in stock" online. We wanted one simple place for everything.

What you can do with it

• Sell at the counter: build a cart, take cash or card, print a receipt, or let a customer pay later.
• Run an online store: switch it on, pick a theme and your colours, and use your own domain.
• Keep your stock right: every change is a line in the stock history, so you always know what happened.
• Manage orders: payments, delivery steps, refunds and voids in one list.
• Know your customers: their orders and their addresses in one place.
• Grow your sales: discount codes, an abandoned-cart email and email campaigns.
• See how you are doing: sales, profit and tax reports in your shop's own time zone.
• Work as a team: staff accounts with the roles cashier, manager and admin.

Take payments your way

In your online store, buyers can pay with Stripe, Omise, 2C2P or PayPal. You can also offer cash on delivery and bank transfer. Each payment provider is an extension, and you switch on the one you want.

Speaks your language

The app speaks English, German and Thai. Your online store can show more than one language, and it can show prices in other currencies too.

Works with AI assistants

Sellrika has a REST API and an MCP server. With an API key, an AI assistant like Claude can read your sales, add products, check stock and more. For example, this blog post was written with an AI assistant through Sellrika's own tools.

Add what you need with extensions

Extensions add new features to your shop: chat alerts for new orders, loyalty points, labels, tax invoices, a restaurant mode, this blog and more. Developers can also write their own extensions.

Run it yourself, if you like

The source code of Sellrika is on GitHub. You can host it on your own server. It runs with SQLite, Postgres or MySQL, and there is a Docker image. Or let us host it for you at sellrika.com.
